Introduction

Radion ("we", "our", or "us") is a radio streaming application developed by Cloud24 Tech. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app. By using Radion, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Information We Collect

Radion is designed with privacy in mind. We collect minimal data to provide you with a great listening experience.

Information stored locally on your device:

• Favorite stations
• Recently played stations
• App preferences (theme, accent color, language, country)
• Equalizer settings
• Custom stations you create

This data is stored on your device using local storage and is not transmitted to our servers.

Network Requests

Radion connects to the internet to:

• Fetch the list of available radio stations from our API
• Stream live radio audio from third-party radio station servers
• Check for app version updates

When connecting to radio streams, your device's IP address is visible to the radio station's server, as is standard for any internet connection. We do not control or have access to data collected by third-party radio station operators.

Advertising

Radion may display advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use data as described in Google's privacy policy, including device identifiers and usage data, to serve relevant ads. You can manage your ad preferences through your device settings.

Premium subscribers do not see any advertisements.

Analytics

We may collect anonymous, aggregated usage data to improve the app experience, such as:

• App crashes and error reports (via Firebase Crashlytics)
• General usage patterns (e.g., most played countries)

This data does not personally identify you.

Chromecast

When you use the Chromecast feature, your device communicates directly with the Google Cast device on your local network. The radio stream URL is sent to the Cast device for playback. This is handled by the Google Cast SDK. No data about your network or devices is sent to our servers.

Data Storage & Security

All personal preferences and data (favorites, recent stations, settings) are stored locally on your device. We do not maintain user accounts, and we do not store personal data on our servers.

If you uninstall the app, all locally stored data is permanently deleted.

Third-Party Services

Radion uses the following third-party services that may collect data according to their own privacy policies:

• Google AdMob (advertising)
• Firebase Crashlytics (crash reporting)
• Google Cast SDK (Chromecast)
• Apple/Google In-App Purchases (subscription management)

We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these services.

Your Rights

Since all your data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it:

• You can clear your favorites and recent stations from within the app
• You can reset all preferences in the app settings
• You can delete all data by uninstalling the app
• You can manage ad tracking preferences in your device settings

Children's Privacy

Radion is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the app and on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
